Y'all know I don't play when it comes to my food. I am always trying different restaurants cuz I don't go by what people say I have to try it for myself. Last Friday was my 14 year old birthday and she wanted Mexican and I thought it would be great to try Baja in irondale. Y'all that food was fantabulous lol the service was on point. We started singing happy birthday to my daughter and the whole restaurant started singing. We are definitely going back again. Y'all keep up the good work.
This was my first time here but it will not be my last! I got the Baja Burrito and my wife got their Fajita Nachos. Both dishes were delicious and the service was great! Definitely worth checking out!
Nice interior decor, very clean, great atmosphere. Came during a slow part of the day and was very peaceful.
WOW... WHATTA BUILDING.. ALL new restaurant in Crestwood (in the old OLIVE GARDEN). The inside has been recovered in splenderous blues like the Pacific where it meets the Baja high cliffs in the sky. The floors are an all new architectural tile that flows through the place. Big tables with tall backs give comfort and shade to the tired traveler trying to catch his breath. There is quiet here. Ashley got the Texas Nachos, I got the Chimichanga steak and shrimp with lots of salad stuff and rice. I also ordered grilled Pineapple which they really didn't offer that was damned hot with grill heat. I cried it was so good. They didn't really understand that concept. (Next time I'm taking my own Pineapple, Red pepper flakes and big sugar grains and gunna teach him something hot.) My inlaws finally turned their phones on and came down after we had eaten. Sam got the Texas Nachos while asking HOW BIG CAN IT BE? (Enough for a family of Ewoks on holiday.) The genteel old mom-in-law ordered two bean burritos saying she hadn't felt good and had a terrible cough. They ate until almost death as we had done. We laughed at their false brevado... thinking that he could eat a Texas plate at 84! Bill, my good friend, ordered the shrimp quesadia. It was beautiful. He said best he'd had. THEN I GOT MEAN. Then I ordered one of each from the dessert menu WITH LOTS OF SPOONS. I think we ended up with six or 7 desserts. No child was left behind. Next time I go I'll order two desserts first. When through I'll order a taco and a burrito. If I can't finish a bite of those I really don't care. But I'll never leave behind a bite of dessert. So... the tip was almost more than the meal. Who cares. We had fun, ate good food, met some mighty nice people and doubled the size of our family. Juan was our server with my inlaws. He's probably the best there is. Guillermo was our server tonight. Great guy. Great service.

Excellent atmosphere, food, and service. Everything was good. The tortilla chips were light and crisp. Salsa had just the right amount of heat. The best Chili Rellano I've had in Birmingham. My friend enjoyed the Chicken and Rice. Great Guacamole. Super cold beer!
Wow, really great food! We had lunch for two and the bill was less than fast food! All the food was excellent and it had to have been since my wife finished before me. Staff meets you at the door and everyone was really nice. It is well worth the trip from anywhere.
